Always carry through this seven-line prayer of supplication to Guru and not to think that I'm great, I'm powerful or just thinking about one's own ego. We actually don't have a tiny bit of real qualities.
貝諾仁波切開示時,首先教導修行者應時時以七支供向蓮師祈請。他說:我們絕不可認為「我很偉大」或「我很有力量」,因為實際上我們連一絲一毫真正的功德都沒有。
Whatever these qualities or sense of knowledge we have in relation with all these scientific methods and technologies of the worldly material, that will never become a cause-condition to liberate from the suffering of samsara. And all these material belongings become just condition that which bind ourselves into the samsara.
我們所擁有的關於世間物質的科學方法與技術的任何功德或知識,永遠不會成為從輪迴痛苦中解脫的因緣。所有這些物質財產僅僅成為將我們束縛於輪迴的條件。
The inner quality we have as our primordial nature is the enlightened qualities that whatever Buddha has. We have that potential, the Buddha nature, as a real seed. Like any fruit seed, with water, soil, and nurturing, it grows into a big tree with fruits that we can utilize. If there is no seed, no matter how many conditions you assemble, nothing really happens.
我們作為本初自性(primordial nature)所擁有的內在功德,就是佛所擁有的覺悟功德。我們擁有這份潛能,即佛性,作為真實的種子。正如任何果實的種子,有了水、土和照料,它會長成大樹並結出我們可以利用的果實。如果沒有種子,無論你聚集多少因緣,什麼都不會真正發生。
When we obtain enlightenment or buddhahood, it is not like that we obtain something new, it is just merely that the qualities what we have in our nature are accomplished or arisen. Like the sunshine hidden by clouds, we do practices to accumulate merit and wisdom and deity practices to purify the obscuration so the quality we have like the sunshine could be arisen.
當我們獲得覺悟或佛果時,並非獲得了什麼新事物,僅僅是我們本性中擁有的功德得以成就或顯發。如同被雲遮蔽的陽光,我們透過積累福德、智慧與本尊修持來淨化障礙,使我們本具如陽光般的功德得以顯現。
Maintain the pure view and pure perception, devotion and faith. Pure perception is based on the absolute reality. Not to have too much attachment and grasping within this samsara; try to understand that the samsara is effortless. Don't have all sorts of doubts or hesitation, because these are like a net that one cannot liberate out of it.
保持清淨的見地與清淨的觀照,以及虔誠與信心。清淨的觀照,是建立在究竟實相之上的。在輪迴中不要有太多的執著與抓取;試著去理解輪迴是無勞的(effortless)。不要有各種疑慮或猶豫,因為這些就像一張羅網,讓人無法從中解脫。
With one's body, speech, mind together, completely devoted to the guru who is the condensed nature of all the past, present, and future, and then try to abide in the absolute nature where there is a non-duality of one's mind with the guru's enlightened mind without any conceptualizing or fabricating. The condensed nature of all the buddhas in form of the enlightened guru's mind is like a yeast that which apply within your being, and through that to receive the blessing.
以這樣的方式,讓自己的身、語、意三者合一,全然投入於上師——他是過去、現在與未來一切諸佛的凝聚本質。接著,嘗試安住於究竟實相之中,在那裡,自己的心與上師覺悟之心無二無別,不加任何概念分別,也不作任何造作,並安住於心的本性之中。
這就像釀造某些酒一樣:當條件具足之後,加入酵母,讓它自然發酵完成。同樣地,過去、現在與未來一切諸佛的精華,以覺悟上師之心的形式呈現,如同酵母一般,作用於你的內在,並藉此領受加持,然後安住於禪修之中。
